This was my first attempt a decorative axe and shield set.
The axe head is a real metal one and the handle is carved from oak. It has copper inlay and features a dragon head carved at the end. The shield was made from a 17th century floorboard and has resin detailing to the centre boss and the outer edge. This was a purely decorative piece and was not made for re-enactments or playing with!
